Contest in Morocco Aims to Find Quranic Talents

TEHRAN (IQNA) – A TV network in Morocco plans to hold a contest to identify Quranic talents in the country.

 

The competition will be organized by Channel 2 of state TV in cooperation with the country’s Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Ministry.

Girls and boys aged 10 to 20 can take part in the competition, whose preliminary stage began on Wednesday. The main round will be held in the holy month of Ramadan (April-May).

Morocco is a country in the Maghreb region of North Africa with a population of more than 33 million. Islam is the largest religion in Morocco, with roughly 99.9 percent of the population adhering to it
