Some 93,000 individuals have registered to take the examination across the country, said Hojat-ol-Islam Parvaneh, director general of the grassroots participations department at the Culture Ministry's Quran and Etrat Deputy.
He said the exam will be held by Quranic institutes in 310 cities and towns.
The exam includes different categories such as memorization, recitation and Nahj-ul-Balaqa.
According to the official, results of the exam will be announced two weeks later.
