Quranic Talents Examination Planned

The first examination for elite Quranic teenagers will be held by the Dar-ol-Quran Karim Organization next week.

Mohammad Zarqam, director of the organization’s education department made the announcement in an interview with IQNA, adding that the examination is slated for Thursday, December 12.

He said a special course for training Quranic talents was held by the organization in September with the participation of 100 teenagers.

He noted that the teenagers who took the course will continue their Quranic activities and programs afterward.

Zarqam stated that those taking the examination for elite Quranic teenagers will pass the exam if they score 14 at the minimum.

He said the participants will be tested on Tajweed recitation of the Holy Quran as well as Quranic concepts.

According to the official, the second special course for training Quranic talents is scheduled to be organized in mid-February in the holy city of Mashhad.
