Top Participants at Quran memorization, Concepts Exam to Be Honored

The top participants in the Quran Memorization and Concepts Examination in 31 provinces will be honored.

Morteza Khedmatkar, director of the education department of the Culture Ministry’s Quran and Etrat Deputy, made the announcement, adding that the final results of the exam will be announced by mid-December.

He noted that some 75,000 Quran learners who study at Quran and Etrat Centers of the culture ministry took the examination.

The national Quran Memorization and Concepts Examination was held by the Quran and Etrat Deputy on October 12.

According to Mr. Khedmatkar, all of the examinees who score 90 out of 100 will receive certificates as well as cash prizes.

The official said the deputy’s Quran memorization courses and the examination are part of its efforts to promote the culture of the Holy Quran and in line with the plan for training 10 million memorizers of the Holy Book.
