Three copies of the smallest printed Quran in the world have been presented to the museum of Astan-e Quds Razavi (custodianship of Imam Reza (AS) holy shrine) in Mashhad, Iran.

According to Seyyed Mohammad Reza Fazel Hashemi, head of the Libraries, Museums and Archive Center of Astan-e Quds Razavi, the copies were gifted by Vahid Taha Mohammadi.
He said they are of great value in terms of size and calligraphy style, adding that they measure 1.5 by 2.2 by 2.5 centimeters, IRNA reported.
Fazel Hashemi noted that with some 20,000 rare copies of Quran manuscripts and Quranic works, as well as 95000 rare Islamic books, the museum of Astan-e Quds Razavi is the greatest treasury of rare written works in the Muslim world.
Astan-e Quds Razavi and its subsidiary cultural institutes comprise 38 libraries with an overall collection of 2.5 million books, including manuscripts and lithograph-printed books.
