Quran Memorizer Centers Launched in Egypt
TEHRAN (IQNA) – Egypt's Awqaf Minister said 69 Quranic centers have been opened in major mosques across the country.
Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa said the centers have been established to offer Quran memorization and recitation courses under the supervision of scholars and Quran experts, el-Balad news website reported.
He said those studying at the centers will take courses for two years.
In the first year, he said, they learn introductory lessons on Quran memorization and Tajweed.
According to Goma, they memorize the Quran and learn lessons on Quran interpretation and recitation as well as Quranic sciences in the second year.
