Muslim Intellectuals’ Role in Society Discussed in Indonesia
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A seminar on “the role of Muslim intellectuals in creating modern Islamic society” was organized in Jakarta, Indonesia.
According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the Sadra Islamic College in the city held the seminar on September 11.
It was attended by Iranian ambassador to Indonesia, Iranian cultural attaché in Jakarta and a number of students and teachers of the college.
Ayatollah Mohsen Qomi, deputy of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution’s Office in international affairs, was among those addressing the program.
A play by students of the college about the event of Ashura and the uprising of Imam Hussein (AS) was also a part of the seminar.
