Seminar on Taj Mahal to Be Held in India

-- Iran Cultural Center in India will hold a seminar on "Taj Mahal, a Symbol of Indian-Iranian Architecture" on October 23 at Delhi University, in cooperation with Historical Research Council and Historian Congress of India.
At the two-day seminar, historical and artistic aspects of the mausoleum, left from the period of Shah Jahan, Mughal emperor and Gurkan dynasty will be investigated.
Over 40 eminent scholars and researchers from Iran, India and Tajikistan will present lectures and papers at the seminar.
Manifestation of Iranian art in Taj Mahal construction, Taj Mahal; reflection of Iranian and Islamic art and architecture in the subcontinent, Taj Mahal Garden; continuation of Iranian garden design, influence of Iranian architecture on Mughal's, Taj Mahal; symbol of cultural relations between Iran and India are some of the themes of the papers sent to the secretariat of the seminar.
