Islamic High School to Be Opened in Uganda

TEHRAN (IQNA) – An Islamic high school will be opened in Uganda on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution.

 

The center announced its programs in a meeting held with the participation of Seyyed Morteza Mortazavi, Iranian ambassador to Uganda, Mohammadreza Qezelsofla, Iranian cultural attaché and Mohammad Bokayi, head of the Al-Mustafa International University’s branch in Uganda.

The programs marking the Ten-Day Fajr festival (the anniversary of the Iranian Islamic Revolution’s victory) in Uganda will be held in Kampala, the capital, and some other parts of the country.

Introducing the achievements of the revolution in radio and TV programs, publication of a special issue titled “The Islamic Republic of Iran at a Glance” in Uganda’s most circulated newspaper, and holding cultural forums and meetings with religious, academic and cultural figures of the country are among the programs of the center.

It will also hold meetings on “the status of culture in view of Imam Khomeini (RA) and Ayatollah Khamenei” and “the status of woman in the Islamic Revolution of Iran” as well as a program titled “Peace at a Glance”.
